Mickey is a loveable pup that was surrendered to us when his owner died. He was clearly loved and well cared for. We think Mickey's life was very sheltered and quiet with just his mom, who didn't take him outside much, even to potty. He has quickly learned how to potty outside and is completely potty trained. He has gotten along well with his foster mom's three pups (two males and a female) and is gradually coming out of his shell. He is excellent at playing fetch and loves toys. He is very smart! Mickey has some anxiety and will do best in a quiet environment without much outside stimulation. Sudden loud noises startle and scare him, but he does fine with thunderstorms. His foster mom lives on 3 acres, and he has flourished there. He loves to be petted and sit on the couch next to you. He sits next to his foster mom on the couch while she works. He is four years old and weighs 40 lbs. He can walk on a leash but will need some training to walk where there are people and other dogs. Walking him will help reduce his anxiety. He would do well as an only dog or with other dogs. He is a sweet boy and will flourish in a family that will be patient and loves him well.
